What to expect:

The session will start with a brief private consultation, you will lie face up, fully clothed on a massage table with a cloth over your eyes. The bed will be switched on and you will be guided into a relaxed state. The experience and sensations felt whilst on the bed are very different person to person. The session is then finished with a brief discussion to answer any questions you may have.

 

After the session:

If it is possible for you to book an appointment on a day where you will be able to rest either straight after the appointment or during the evening of that day, then that is preferable. It is also advised that you drink plenty of water and avoid alcohol.

“What is actually happening? What is the science?”

You and everything else in this world are made up of electromagnetic energy. Crystals can generate energy through a phenomenon called the Piezoelectric effect. This is a process that occurs when a crystal is compressed or bent and generates a charge or voltage on its surface. In the same way we can generate energy using crystals by applying a certain electrical polarity causing the crystalline structure to expand and then applying the opposite polarity to make it contract. This rapid expansion and contraction generates a vibration of energy that is then transmitted into your own internal energy circuits. The crystals focus energy into an area of the body and help it find it's natural electromagnetic rhythm again.

I believe this goes someway to explaining what happens under the crystals but I also believe that there is much more to this than is scientifically proven at this current time.

 

“Isn’t this Energy Healing just new age mumbo-jumbo?”

Firstly, I completely understand. My background is in Project Management and Logistics, I have a Masters in Engineering and my strengths lie in Math’s and Science, so scientific proof was something I required. Unconsciously I had a created a line dividing those natural therapies I believed in (e.g. acupuncture) and those I didn’t (e.g. crystal healing). That was until I had a truly life changing crystal treatment that proved to me that there is more to this world than we can see and more than is common knowledge.

Although we think of energy healing as a ‘new-age’ thing, in actual fact it is older than our traditional western medicine and can be seen in all ancient indigenous tribes throughout the world. Hippocrates, the father of modern medicine referenced the healing ability that we ourselves possess, he referred to ”healing heat that oozes out of my hands seems to be able to take away aches and impurities and implant health”. This seems paradoxical considering he is the founder of modern medicine and yet most modern professionals ignore the evidence of energy healing.

I believe Science is catching up. For example Quantum Physics shows that we truly do create reality through the power of our thoughts. Neuroscientists have proved that meditation can improve our memory and make us more compassionate. Studies are showing that meditating on plants helps them to grow and Dr Emoto proved that by focusing positive emotions on water you can change the microscopic shape from incomplete, asymmetrical patterns with dull colours to brilliant, complex, and colourful snowflake patterns. And just how there was once a time when electricity would have seemed like fantasy but it now is fact, I think in a few years time energy healing will be considered the same.

Each individuals experience is so different. There are many cases of instant resolutions and just as likely it may be something that needs to be resolved over a series of sessions. Often, the experience is exponentially deeper on the second and third sessions so I do l encourage people to have blocks of three treatments which can be taken once a week, once a month or at whatever frequency is requested. Having said this, one treatment on its own will definitely be very worthwhile.

 

"How is this linked to John of God?"

The Crystal Bed itself comes from the Casa De Dom Inacio in Brazil which is the home place for the famous medium John of God.
